Dissolution of sugar in water. When sugar crystals are stirred in water, a clear solution is obtained.

It is a physical change on the following basis:

1. No new substance is formed.

2. Sugar can be recovered by the process of crystallization.

3. The change is not accompained by heat.

4. Mass of sugar solution is equal to mass of water and sugar crystals.
