The correct option is (D) (8/9)2.

Explanation;

We know, electron density max(Nmax) and frequency(f) are related as 

fmax = 9 √(Nmax

∴ Nmax ∝ (fmax)2 

∴ [(Nmax 1) / (Nmax 2)] = (8/9)2 

∴ ratio is (8/9)2
