 The correct option (C) Q(ae1 + be2)

Explanation:

as potential = V = ∫E∙dr

W = workdone = Q ∙ V = Q(E∙dr)

∴ W = Q[(e1i˄ + e2j˄ + e3k˄) ∙ (ai˄ + bj˄)]

∴ W = Q[(e1a + e2b]
