Correct option: (a) 70 mL, 10 mL

Explanation:

2CO + O2 → 2CO2

60 ml of CO react with 30 ml of O2

Volume of CO2 formed = 60 ml

remaining volume of O2 = 10 ml

∴ Mixture A contain 60 ml CO2 and 10 ml of O2

Total volume of A = 70 ml

After passing of A in KOH solution as only CO2 will react with aq. KOH.

Volume remaining = (70–60) ml = 10 ml

Volume of ‘B’ = 10 ml
