The correct option (C) 327°C

Explanation:

Average Kinetic energy ∝ Temperature 

E ∝ T 

Hence if KE is double, then temperature has to be double. hence 

T = 2 × (273 + 27) 

T = 600K 

∴ T = (600 – 273)°C = 327°C
