Find the solution of given system

2x + y = 6, 

3x + y = 2

2x + y = 6 or y = 6 - 2x

Substituting this for y in the second equation we have:

3x + 6 - 2x = 2 which leads to x = -4

Substituting this value of x into the first equation gives us y = 14.

Therefore the solution of the given system is x = -4, y = 14  or (-4, 14)
