Correct option is (a) 6

A dice has 6 faces.

So, for each face of the first dice, there will be 6 combinations  with the faces of the second dice.

∴ The number of exhaustive events = 6 × 6 = 36.

There are six ways the first die can fall and six the second.  So, for each face of the first dice, there will be six combinations with the faces of the second dice.  Therefore the number of exhaustive events is six times six: (c) 36
