Best answer

(a) upper incisor

The task of an elephant is a modified form of incisor teeth.

They have the largest teeth among the animals and this modified incisor tooth originates from the upper jaw of the elephant.

The structure is found in that manner as the tusk is directly linked with the scale of the elephant.

This is a character that elephants have gained from their prior ancestors in the evolutionary lineage.
