माना कि एकक कोष्ठिका के सिरे की लम्बाई = a

गोले की त्रिज्या = r

∴ गोले एक-दूसरे को सम्पर्क करते हैं। 

a = 2r 

एक एकक कोष्टिका में गोलों की संख्या

= 8 x 1/8 = 1

एक गोले का आयतन = 4/3 πr3 

का आयतन = a x a x a = a3

सकलन क्षमता  = 

\(\frac{\frac{4}{3}\pi r^3}{8r^3}\)

\(\frac{4 \times 22}{3 \times 7 \times 8}\)

= 0.524

= 52.4%
