An alternating current of 1.5 mA and angular frequency 300 radian s–1 flows through a 10 lent resistor and a 0.50 F capacitor in series. Find the rms voltage across the capacitor and impedance of the circuit.

Rms voltage across the capacitor

 = Irms .XC

= 1.5 x 10-3 x 20/3 = 10V
