A boy has 3 red, 4 green and 4 blue marbles in his pocket. How many will he have to take out of his pocket to ensure that he has taken out at least one of each color?

3 red  4 blue, 4 green  add them up and it is 11  the first three times you might pull out all red so u have one color so your down to blue and green the next for times you pull out all blues so that is a total of 7 Tries add 1 there is only green in your pocket now so it is  8  it can be 9 also it matters what the first color is
