lack of oxygen in muscles often leads to cramps among cricketerss.

Muscular cramps may develop as a result of heavy exercise or fast running. 
When muscle cell respire Anaerobically, there is partial break down of glucose and lactic acid. Accumulation of lactic acid causes muscle cramps.
