Give any two similarities of hydrogen with group-I elements?

(a) Hydrogen atom has one valence electron similar to alkali metal atoms of group-I

(b) Hydrogen can lose valence electron to form unipositive ion, which is similar to alkali metals  which also loses their valence electron forming alkali metal ion.
