How many maximum points of intersection can we get by arranging 8 straight lines and 4 circles in a plane ?

Correct Option :- (B) 104

Explanation :-

Two circle intersect at two points = 4C2 × 2 = 12 

two lines interset at one point = 8C2 = 28 

one circle and one line intersect at two point = 4C18C1 x 2  = 64 

Total = 12 + 28 + 64 = 104
