hey there ,

see try to read every single word given in the question carefully ….remember the answer is always hidden in the question itself :)

here , the person is moving first north (30m) , then east (40m) so picturize these distances ….then he is moving south-west (50m) ….as we all know that 3,4,5 are pythagorus triplets …..so the man is infact returning to the same original position …..hence the net displacement is zero.
