Unpolarised light is incident on a plane glass surface. What should be the angle of incidence so that the reflected and refracted rays are perpendicular to each other? (For glass refractive index = 1.5).

n = tan iB 

=> Brewster’s angle for glass: 

iB = tan–1 (n) = tan–1 (1.5) 

= 56° 19’.
