Let x2/36 + y2/27 = 1 be an ellipse and P be any point on it and S and S be its foci.

The point of intersection of straight lines joining each focus to the foot of the perpendicular from the of  other focus upon the tangent at a point P (π/3), is

Correct option  (B) (15/8, 9/4)

Explanation:

we know that the straight lines joining S'F1 and SF2 bisects the normal PG.

Required point of intersection is midpoint of PG.
