Best answer

Correct option : (4) longer wavelength

Explanation :

When the photon collides with an electron it share the energy with electron according to laws of conservation of energy and momentum. Hence its energy and velocity consequently will decrease and therefore in accordance with relation λ = h/mv  it will have a longer wavelength.
