If a solution is described by 10% glucose in water by mass, it means that 10 g of glucose is dissolved in 90 g of water resulting in a 100 g solution.

So option  (C) is correct

What does w/w % actually means ?

It means that mass of solute present in 100g of solution

.

Now coming to the question

10% w/w  glucose solution

Therefore, from above we know that

mass of solution=100g

mass of solute(glucose)=10g

So, the answer is C
