The motion of two bodies A and B represented by two straight lines drawn on the same displacement-time graph, make angles 30º and 60º with time axis, respectively. Which body possesses greater velocity? What is the ratio of their velocities?

 The slope of the displacement time graph at an instant gives the velocity at that instant.

The velocity of body = slope of displacement time graph. Therefore the line having greater slope has greater velocity, i.e. the body B has greater velocity. Ratio of their velocities,
