An amplitude modulated wave is represented by,

vAM = 4 (1 + 0.2 sin 314 t) sin (314 × 102t)

The minimum and the maximum amplitude of the amplitude modulated wave will be respectively equal to,

(1) 0, 1 units

(2) 0, 4 units

Best answer

Correct option: (2) 0, 4 units

Explanation:

Vc = 4

Modulated Index = m = 0.2

Minimum amplitude = 4(1 – 0.2) = 3.2 V

Maximum amplitude = 4(1 + 0.2) = 4.8 V
