Find the equation of the line passing through the point of intersection of the lines. 2x – 5y + 1 = 0, 3x + 2y = 8 and making equal intercepts on the axes.

Let P(αβ) be the point of intersection of 2x – 5y + 1 = 0, 3x + 2y = 8

So,  2α – 5β + 1 = 0 ...... (1) and 3α + 2β – 8 = 0 ........ (2)
