A copper disk is placed between the poles of a magnet, as shown in Fig.. In the electric circuit shown in the figure, a galvanometer is connected in place of the battery. In which direction will the induced current flow when the disk is rotated: (1) clockwise, (2) counterclockwise (looking from the north pole)?

In the first case, the current flows from the axis of the disk to the lower edge. In the second case, the current is reversed.
