Find the equation of straight line through the point (2,5) and through the point of intersection of line x -2y +1 = 0 and 2x -5y +3 =0

The given straight lines are

x -2y +1 = 0   -----(1)

and 2x -5y +3 = 0   -----(2)

By cross- multiplication method

∴  x = 1, Y = 1 

∴ P(I,I) is the point of intersection of lines (1) and (2)
