किसी चालक के विशिष्ट प्रतिरोध के व्युत्क्रम को उस चालक की विशिष्ट चालकता (या केवल चालकता) कहते हैं। इसे ग्रीक अक्षर K (कप्पा, kappa) से निरूपित किया जाता है। 

k = 1/p 

विशिष्ट चालकता के मात्रक ओम-1 सेमी-1 या Ω-1 सेमी-1 या S सेमी-1 हैं।
