Correct option  (c) 12, 8 

Explanation:

⇒ (x – a)(x – 10) = – 1

x – a = 1 & x – 10 = –1

OR x – a = –1  &  x – 10 =1

9 – a = 1  x = 10 – 1 11 – a = – 1  x = 11

a = 8   x = 9    a =12
