Area of a circle (A) = r2π

r = 50 AU A50 = (50)2 π = 7850 (AU)2

r = 30 AU A30 = (30)π = 2826 (AU)2

A50 - A50 = (7850 - 2826) (AU)2 = 5024 (AU)2

(A50 - A30)/A50 = (5024 x 100)/7850 = 64%
