Find the area of the parallelogram whose diagonals are 3i + j - 2k, i - 3j + 4k

Let a = 3i + j - 2k, b = i - 3j + 4k 

= i(4 - 6) - j(12 + 2) + k(-9 - 1)

= -2 i - 14j - 10k

Area = | vector a x vector b | 

=√(4+196+100) = √300=10√3 sq. unit
