For steel wire: Total force = F1 = 4 + 6 = 10 kgf = 10 x 9.8 N

l1 = 1.5 m,r1 = 0.25/2 cm = 0.125 x 10-2m; y1 = 2 x 1011 Pa∆l1 = ?

For brass wire, F2 = 6 kg f = 6 × 9.8 N, r2 = 0.125 x 10–2 m Y2 = 0.91 x 1011 Pa, l2 = 1 m
