Here it is given that eq. weight of metal = 3*10-4 = 26

by the definition of eq. weight, eq. weight = atomic weight / n-factor

n-factor of an ion is its positive or negative charge.

so here n-factor = 2 * 26 = 52 amu

eq. weight = atomic weight / 2

atomic weight = 2*
