If-

-reproduction is a defining peoperty then, what about sterile organisms

Hi Hari,

As we know that some organisms are living inspite of that they can not reproduce. So,Growth and Reproduction cannot be taken as the defining property of all living beings because there are certain living beings in the world which do not show these properties and yet they are living beings. For ex: Drones, Infertile couples cannot reproduce yet they are living, . Similarly some non-living also grow in size but they are not living. That's why it is not taken as defining property.
