If S  ax2 +  2hxy + by2 + 2gx +  2gx + 2fy _+ c = 0  represents a pair of lines equidistant from the origin, then show that f2 - g4 =  c (bf2 -  ag2)

Suppose the lines are l1x + m1y + n1 = 0 and l2x + m2y + n2 = 0. Therefore

l1l2 = a

l1m2 + l2m1 = 2h

m1m2 = b
