Best answer

Correct option  (D)  x +  6y + 16 = 0

Explanation :

Slope of the line joining the points (4, 1) and (-2,2) is

2 - 1/-2 - 4(= -1/6)

Hence, by Theorem 2.2, the equation of the given line is

y + 3 = 1/6(x - 2)

x + 6y + 16 = 0
