Kinetic Energy = 1/2 x m x v^{2} ----------------(1)

Since the equation for momentum (p) is = m x v

By multiplying equation (1) by m,

K.E x m = 1/2 x m^{2} x v^{2}

K.E x m = 1/2 x (m x v )^{2}

K.E x m = 1/2 x (p)^{2}

K.E = 1/2 x (p)^{2} / m

K.E x 2 = (p)^{2} / m

Since K.E x 2 is constant,

(p)^{2} = (K.E x 2 ) x m
