Best answer

At. Mass of Carbon = 12

At. Mass of Oxygen = 16

Molecular mass of CO2 = (12 x 1) + (16 x 2)

= 12 + 32

= 44

No of moles = Mass in gm/Molecular mass

Thus no of moles of CO2 = 4.4/44 = 0.1 mole
