Correct option  (a)  3/5

Explanation :

 We have 2ae = 6 and b = 4. Therefore

16 = b2 = a2(1 - e2) = a2 - a2e2 = a2 - 9

a = 5

Therefore

e = 3/5 ( ae = 3)
