Evaluate: ∫ (3x – 2)dx/ (x – 1)(x2 + 9)

(3x – 2) = A(x2 + 9) + Bx (x – 1) + C(x – 1) 

When x = 1, A = 1/10 

and x = 0, 9 A – C = – 2

= C = 2 + 9 A = 2 + 9/10 = 29/10

Also x = –1, 10A + 2B – 2 C = –5

= 2B = 2C – 10A – 5 = 29/5 –1 –5 

= 2B = –1/5 

= B = –1/10
