Let f(x) = (x – 2). Find the number of non-differentiable points of g(x) = tan– 1(|f(|x|)|).

We have h(x) = |f(|x|)| = ||x| – 2|

Clearly, h is not differentiable at x = –2, 0, 2

Thus, g (x) is non-differentiable at x = –2, 0, 2

Hence, the number of non-differentiable points is 3.
