Here A = 15.2 x 19.1 x 10-6 m2

F = 44,500 N

G = 42 x 109 Nm-2

Strain = Stress/Shear Modulus of Elasticity

= (F/A)/G = F/AG = 44500/(15.2 x 19.2 x 10-6) x 42 x 109

= 3.65 x 10-3
