Given area of the house in photograph = 1.75 cm².

Area of the house on screen = 1.55 m² = 1.55 x 10⁴ cm².

Magnification in area of photograph

= (1.55 x 10⁴/1.75) 

= 8.857 x 10³ cm²

Linear magnification 

= √(areal magnification)

= √(8.587 x 10³)

= 94.1 cm².
