An incompressible fluid flows steadily through a cylindrical pipe which has radius 2R at point A and radius K at point B along the flow direction. If the velocity of liquid flow at A is ν, what will be its velocity at point B?

From equation of continuity,

v x π(2R)2 = v' x πR2

⇒ v' = 4v
