Correct Answer is: (A) 2x

Volume of H2 / Volume of O2 = Equivalent volume of H2 / Equivalent volume of O2,

x/volume of O2 = 11.2/5.6 = 2,

Volume of O2 = x/2

Thus, x/2 L O2 requires Rs x for its production.

i.e., x L O2 will require Rs x for its production.
