Best answer

(c) (i) Advantages of Drip Irrigation:
(a) Maximum use of available water.
(b) No water
being available to weeds.
(c) Maximum crop yield.
(d) High efficiency in the use of fertilizers.
(e) Less weed growth and restricts population of potential hosts.
(f) No soil erosion.
(ii) Drip irrigation wets less ground, hence
less weed seeds germinate. And over-irrigation of crops by using techniques such as drip irrigation can increase the soil salinity. Thus by elimination method, we get answer (c) only 1 and 3.
