Correct option (b) 25

See Fig.

Let OA = a and OB = b. Then

a2 + b2 = 25

Area of rhombus ABCD = 2ab

Let a = 5sinθ, b = 5cosθ.

Then 2ab = 25 sin2θ

Hence, maximum area = 25 sq. units for θ = π/4.
