Best answer

Total no. of moles of CO  and CO
= a + b + b
= a + 2b
Total no. of moles of CO2 = b
Moles fraction of CO2 absorbed in KOH
= b/a+ 2b

According to given condition
= b/a+ 2b = 1/6

a = 4b

Ratio of molar ratio of the two acids in the original mixture
= HCOOH / H2C2O4
= 4 /1
