Answer is (1) 0 and 0

(a) If the complex MA2B2 is sp3 hybridised then the shape of this complex is tetrahedral this structure is opticaly inactive due to the presence of plane of symmetry.

Optical isomes = 0

(b) If the complex MA2B2 is dsp2 hybridised then the shape of this complex is square planar.

Both isomers are optically inactive due to the presence of plane of symmetry.

Optical isomers = 0
