Since A &B are symmetric matrices A = a’ & B = B’

To prove (AB – BA)’ = – (AB – BA)

L.H.S = (AB – BA)’

(AB)’ – (BA)’

= B’A’-A’B’

= BA – AB

= – (AB – BA)

= R.H.S

Thus proved.
