Best answer

Point (2,-2) lies on the given linear equation, which implies (2, -2) satisfy this equation 5x + ky = 4.

Now, putting x = 2 and y = -2 in 5x + ky = 4

5 × 2 + ( -2 ) k = 4

10 – 2k = 4

2k = 10 – 4

2k = 6

k = 6/2 = 3

The value of k is 3.
