Ratio of nth orbit = \(k\frac{n^2}{z}\) where k= constant and n = no of orbit

Here z =1 (for hydrogen atom)

Now,

n for 3rd orbit = n2 = 9

n for 2nd orbit = n2 = 4

K is constant and Z =1

\(\frac{r_2}{r_3}\) \(=\frac{4}{9}\)
