Please asnwer:

If 1≤a≤2 then √(a+2√(a-1)) + √(a-2√(a-1)) = 2  Is it true? If yes, how?

Yes, it's true.

If we square each term on left hand side then we will get

(a+2√(a-1)) + (a-2√(a-1)) = 2

2a=2

so, if a=1 then 2=2 LHS=RHS
